Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
SiteOps is a product of IDM VALLEY (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information SiteOps holds, why, and the choices you have. Questions about it go to hi@idmvalley.com.
What we hold
- Account details for people who use SiteOps: name, email address and a hashed password (never the password itself).
- What your team enters or imports: clients, websites, servers and hosting details, renewal dates and costs, incidents, requests, comments and notes.
- Operational records the service produces: uptime and certificate check results, backup and deployment reports, email notification history, and a log of who changed what and when.
- Messages you send us, such as an email to hi@idmvalley.com, so we can reply.
Cookies and tracking
SiteOps uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in. This public website does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use it
- To run SiteOps: monitoring your websites, recording incidents and sending the notifications your team has set up.
- To keep accounts and data secure, and to investigate problems.
- To respond to enquiries.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with providers that help us run the service (for example hosting and email delivery) and where the law requires it.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, access tokens are stored hashed, and saved email credentials are encrypted. The database is backed up regularly and backups are checked. No system is perfectly secure, so we also limit who on our side can access data.
How long we keep it
Detailed monitoring checks are kept for a limited period and then summarised. Other records stay while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your data.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hi@idmvalley.com.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
